WAYF has embarked on a new venture, coaching children of Armed Forces personnel, some of whom are currently serving Queen and country in Afghanistan and other conflict zones.

WAYF conducted a highly successful taster session in Episkopi, Cyprus, so the next course is planned for April 2010 at Happy Valley in Cyprus. WAYF aims to support the Army Benevolent Fund by donating 10% of all course fees taken during this period, and we hope this will be the start of a great partnership. If any of the children are good enough to play at a higher level, we have a scouting team with us, and we also have links at professional clubs in Cyprus who are always eager to take on talented players.

We care passionately about this new venture - especially since some of our coaching team members have actually served in H.M. Forces and played representative football for Army teams.
