Middle East programme

WAYF has recently undertaken a consultancy project at the largest football club in the Middle East. This involved the analysis of fundamental challenges associated with running a professional academy at a large club, as well as some of the issues relating to the assessment and guidance of coaching practice. Seminars and on-field coach education, matters relating to child protection and safeguarding policies were key areas for discussion with the club and its academy staff.

Guidance on scouting procedures, laws and Best Practice were all discussed in the context of how to develop these procedures so as to produce elite talent in an environment conducive to positive learning. A full detailed report on all areas regarding professional and academy departments was also provided. Our team of experts consisting of ex- premiership players and coaching professionals work closely to develop a new club structure and ethos that will maximise all professional and private clubs to be developmental and pro active in achieving success.
